As we celebrate two incredible decades of learning, growth, and community, I am honored to continue serving as the principal of Sunset Elementary—a place where connection and collaboration shape everything we do.

This year’s theme, “The Power of Us,” is more than just a phrase. It reflects the heart of Sunset: the strength we gain when we work together, the pride we share in our school, and the belief that every student, teacher, and family member play a role in helping students learn and grow.

As we step into this new school year, let’s lean into the power of unity, tradition, and possibility. I can’t wait to see the joy, growth, and collaboration that unfold in our classrooms and beyond.
